WASHINGTON COUNTY (KFSM) – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested an armed robbery suspect on Monday (April 20), according to a post on their Facebook page.

Bart Woodard, 49, was booked into the Washington County Detention Center on Monday and faces charges of failure to appear, accomplice, aggravated robbery and more, according to jail records.

He had an active arrest warrant out and was found in Tulsa, the post states. There, he was apprehended by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, The U.S. Marshals Service and other law enforcement agencies.

Woodard’s bond has been set at $381,405.79, and his next hearing is scheduled for Wednesday (April 22) at 7:45 a.m., jail records state.

On May 5, 2011, Woodard robbed Mancia Jewelry at 120 N. Thompson St. in Springdale, police said. While there, he shot a store clerk with a taser gun, according to court documents.

A warrant was issued for his arrest on Sept. 13, 2011, court records state.
