FORT SMITH (KFSM) – A Fort Smith waitress said she received a $2,000 tip from a generous customer on Tuesday (April 28).

Loran Lopez works at Logan’s Roadhouse at 6201 Rogers Ave., and she said she was completely shocked when she discovered the receipt showing her tip.

Lopez said she didn’t personally know the woman who left the tip, but she had heard of the customer before. Tuesday was the first time she served the customer and actually spoke with her.

The waitress didn’t look at the receipt immediately when it was handed to her, but when she did look at it later, she was stunned.

“I’m pretty sure my jaw dropped to the floor, and my heart stopped,” Lopez said.

In addition to Lopez’s $2,000 tip, the unnamed customer also gave the bartender a $700 tip and each cook a $100 tip, the waitress said.

The customer said she knew she didn’t have to tip, but she wanted to tip everyone who served her while she was there, according to Lopez.

Lopez said, “I had so many rough nights here lately, and then she did that. I’m forever grateful for it too!”

Now Obama is going to Want His Share of YOUR TIP…
When I eat out I hand the Waitress a nice CA$H tip. This way if she wants to report it she can.. What I think is wrong all she gets paid is $2.43hr and they except All customers will leave a nice tip…

Bob Unreal. $2.43 is a base wage. If her tips are added to that and they don’t equal minimum wage the owner is required to make up the difference.
Obama ? Do you recall something know as the Great Depression ? Now How about the Great Recession.
