Fayetteville High Gets New Principal

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Chad Scott, 48, was named Monday (May 4) as principal at Fayetteville High School.

Scott replaces Steve Jacoby, who became principal on July 1, 2010.

The Fayetteville Board of Education voted unanimously to hire Scott. Scott is currently the principal of Bentonville High School. Prior to that, he was the assistant principal at Bentonville High School and as an assistant principal for the Springdale Public Schools.

Scott will start his employment with the Fayetteville School District on July 1 and will earn $127,000.

Last April, Fayetteville Public Schools named Paul Hewitt superintendent. He started July 1.
