Russellville Police Identify Wanted Armed Robbery Suspect

RUSSELLVILLE (KFSM) – The Russellville Police Department identified a wanted armed robbery suspect on Tuesday (May 26), authorities say.

On Tuesday morning at 4:16 a.m., Russellville police responded to the 300 block of South Boston Avenue and then the 1400 block of North Boston Avenue in reference to multiple home invasions within Russellville city limits, police said.

In both instances, the same suspect entered a residence with a weapon and stole multiple items while the homeowners were present, according to a news release.

At 7:12 a.m., the suspect stopped a green 1997 Ford Escort in the 1100 block of Buttermilk Road north of Atkins and robbed the driver, the Pope County Sheriff’s Office said. The suspect then stole the vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.

The suspect was identified as Christopher Hamilton, police said.  He was last seen wearing green duck pajamas and a white t-shirt. Hamilton was described as a white man about five feet five inches tall with buzzed blond hair and several tattoos.
