CRAWFORD COUNTY (KFSM) – Power lines are down along Alma Highway in Crawford County Tuesday morning (May 26th), according to dispatchers at the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
The downed lines, which are located around the 5300 block of Alma Highway, were first reported to authorities during Monday night’s storms, dispatchers said.
Crews with the power company were out in that area around 8 p.m. Tuesday night working to get the electricity to those lines turned off and the power turned back on, dispatchers said. Those crews are expected to be back out there finish work up Tuesday morning.
Nearly two thousand homes and businesses in the Crawford County area remain without power at last check.
