LITTLE ROCK (KFSM) – The 48 Hour Film Project is coming to Little Rock on July 10, according to a news release.

Filmmakers from all over The Natural State will compete to see who can make the best film in 48 hours. The winning team will compete against other teams from 135 cities across the world, the release states.

Last year’s winning Little Rock team (Flokati Films) was shown at the Filmapalooza Film Festival in Hollywood. This year’s winner will be screened at Filmapalooza in spring 2016 and have a chance to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival in France, according to the release.

Teams that enter a film in the Little Rock 48 Hour Film Project will have their entry screened at the Ron Robinson Theater from July 20-22, the project’s website states. For more information on the competition, click here.
