CRAWFORD COUNTY (KFSM) – Three formerly Democratic Crawford County officials have now joined the Republican Party, according to a news release.
Crawford County Clerk Teresa Armer, Circuit Clerk Sharon Blount-Baker and Coroner Pam Wells all attended the Crawford County Republican Committee meeting on Tuesday evening (June 9), officials said.
“It is a great time to be a Republican in Arkansas”, said Republican Party of Arkansas Chairman Doyle Webb. “We are excited to welcome these outstanding public servants to become a part of the new majority party. This continuance of momentum from the past election cycle is indicative of the future of the party.”
Armer was first elected in 2008, Blount-Baker in 2006 and Wells in 2004, according to the release.
