Newly Elected Hartford Mayor Says It Went Too Long Without A Police Officer

FORT SMITH (KFSM) - The town of Hartford in Sebastian County has a newly elected mayor who's spending most of his time implementing his goals. The first one was hiring a new police officer -- check. His next goal he said is to try and repair the town's infrastructure.

For a "5NEWS This Morning" segment that aired Friday (June 13), anchor Daren Bobb spoke to Mayor James Baker. He said hiring a police officer brought a peace of mind to the town.
