ARKANSAS (KFSM) – More than $6 million worth of damage was done in Arkansas as a result of flooding during May, officials say.
The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management (working with FEMA) estimated the amount after completing preliminary assessments of all of the damage, according to a news release.
In total, 370 Arkansas homes were damaged in some way by the flooding that started on May 7, the release states.
Damage amounts broken down county by county can be seen below:
Crawford County – $293,628
Franklin County – $68,027
Johnson County – $126,441
Logan County – $278,690
Madison County – $140,200
Polk County – $289,257
