FORT SMITH (KFSM) - There were no reported injuries after a home was engulfed in flames Monday morning (June 29).
The fire was in Sebastian County, just south of Old Jenny Lind Loop and Gate Nine Road.
Jenny Lind Volunteer Fire Department officials said the woman in the house with her three grandchildren are safe.
Manuel Schlinker, who lives at the house, was at work when the fire started, and he said a clock started the fire.
Schlinker said it wasn't clear if all five of his pets made it out out of the house.
