SPRINGDALE (KFSM) – A Springdale man claims he was bound with duct tape and had $150 to $200 stolen from a fireworks stand, according to a Spirngdale Police Department report.
Joseph Wood said he was sleeping inside of the tent Monday morning (June 30) when two suspects awoke him and demanded where the money was while holding a knife to his neck, the release stated.
Wood described the two suspects as Hispanic males, 20-30 years old, with one wearing grey cargo pants and a black ski mask.
He said he was bound was bound with duct tape when the suspects took the money. Wood also said they took his phone and and damaged a laptop computer inside the tent, the damage reported to be approximately $1,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
