FORT SMITH (KFSM) – The Tangerine Twist and Blue Macaw slides at Parrot Island Waterpark remain closed.
Waterpark officials closed the two slides on Monday (June 29) for modifications, but were scheduled to reopen them Friday (July 3).
According to one official, a sign outside the waterpark states that the orange and blues slides will be closed until further notice.
The official said there would be no comment when asked if the slides would be open for the Fourth of July.
There was not a timetable for completion available.
