CHARLESTON (KFSM) – A Franklin County man has been charged with first degree murder and will have his bond reduced, according to the Franklin County prosecuting attorney’s office.
Thomas Barnes, 64, was arrested June 9 for the killing of Joey Strickland during a confrontation outside of Barnes’ house.
The original bond set for $500,000 has been reduced to $30,000, after an arraignment hearing July 2.
A court date is still pending according to the prosecuting attorney’s office.
