FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – With the watch season well underway, it comes as no surprise that Arkansas junior Hunter Henry was named to the John Mackey Award watch list.
The award is given to the best tight end in college football.
Henry was named a preseason All-American by Athlon Sports after catching 37 passes last season as a sophomore fore 513 yards. For his career, the Little Rock native has 65 catches for 922 yards and six touchdowns. The 65 receptions is the most in the SEC over the past two seasons.
The Hogs’ tight end has also been named a fourth team preseason All-American by Phil Steele.
