Manhunt Suspect Christopher Hood Dies At Hospital

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)- Bentonville manhunt suspect Christopher Hood died at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville on Thursday (July 16), according to Roger Morris, the Washington County coroner.

Hood was captured in Jane, Missouri on Monday following a four-day manhunt in Northwest Arkansas after he shot at a Benton County Sheriff’s Office deputy Friday night, authorities said. When he was surrounded in Jane, Hood shot himself in the head, according to authorities.
