BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) – Six people were arrested after meth was found at an in-home daycare in Benton County, authorities say.

An anonymous tip led to authorities finding the meth on Wednesday (July 15), according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

The in-home daycare is at 559 Buffalo Lane in Bethel Heights, deputies said.

Detectives found 32 grams of meth, a gun, used syringes and other drug paraphernalia inside the daycare.

No children were present at the time of the search, and deputies are attempting to contact the parents of children who were enrolled in the daycare.

“If you feel like your child has been watched in this home of if you’ve used this daycare, we would like you to call the [Benton County] sheriff’s office so we can speak with you,” said Deputy Keshia Guyll.

Guyll said the daycare did not care for enough children to be licensed as a business.

The following individuals were arrested in the case:

  • Christopher P. Polk, 38, of Bethel Heights
  • Courtney M. Polk, 35, Bethel Heights
  • Edward Mosier, 34, of Fayetteville
  • Chasity D. Humphries, 34, of Bethel Heights
  • Travis Edens, 33, of Springdale

All five face various drug charges and were booked into the Benton County Detention Center, deputies said.

Their first hearing is scheduled for Aug. 24 at 8 a.m., according to jail records.
