Springdale Authorities Respond To Child Locked In Hot Car

SPRINGDALE (KFSM) – Springdale authorities responded to a two-year-old girl locked in a hot car on Thursday afternoon (July 23), authorities said.

A dispatcher said the child was at All Star Sports Arena at 1906 Cambridge St. in Springdale.

Authorities received the call at 3:53 p.m. from the mother of the child after she accidentally locked her kid in a car. As of 4:20 p.m., the child was out of the car and in good health, according to the Springdale Police Department.

First responders were able to pick the lock on the vehicle and get the child out, authorities said.
