Warrant Issued For Man Wanted In Connection To Aggravated Robbery

SEBASTIAN COUNTY (KFSM)- The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant Monday (August 3) for a second suspect wanted in connection to a home invasion, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.

Michael Lee Jones, 36, of Fort Smith is wanted on an aggravated robbery charge after the residents of a home on the 1800 block of Red Brown Place told police they woke up on July 27 to two men demanding money while one of them brandished a handgun, the release states. The residents were held at gunpoint as the suspects stole some items from their home, according to the release.

Jones is described as a white man, 6’1″ and 170 pounds with violent criminal charges on his record, the release states. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office at (479) 783-1051.

The other suspect in the case, Steven Flynn, turned himself into authorities Thursday (July 30).

The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into a female suspect who was seen by the residents the night of the robbery, the release states.
