WASHINGTON COUNTY (KFSM) – Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said a driver is hospitalized after he swerved to avoid hitting a deer with his motorcycle on Viney Grove Road in Fayetteville around 7 a.m. Monday morning (Aug. 10).
The driver’s motorcycle ran off the road into a nearby ditch, deputies on scene said following the accident.
The driver is being transported to Washington Regional Medical Center, deputies on scene said. His injuries are said to be minor at this time, according to first responders.
