LITTLE ROCK (KFSM) — United Airlines passengers flying in August can get a special glimpse at business opportunities and attractions in Arkansas, which is this month’s featured location on the airline’s in-flight magazine, Hemispheres.
The magazine includes a supplemental economic development series insert, “Dossier,” that highlights a different place each month and gives an economic overview of the area.
Several local businesses made the spotlight in the Arkansas edition, including J.B. Hunt, ArcBest, Tyson, Walmart, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
The Arkansas Economic Development Commission said in a press release they recognized the great opportunity to showcase the perks of doing business in Arkansas when the airline approached them to participate.
The magazine will be on all United Airlines flights for the duration of the month, but will be available for a full year on the United Hemispheres website, the release states.
