SILOAM SPRINGS (KFSM) — John Brown University had a groundbreaking ceremony Monday (Aug. 17) for a facility to house its new nursing initiative, which is planned to launch in 2016 pending successful accreditation.
Twelve community members, JBU officials and Nabholz Construction Company representatives dug into the earth Monday morning, marking the official start of construction on the Health Education Building.
The two-story building will be approximately 21,000 square feet and will be located between Bell Science Hall and the Balzer Technology Center on the west side of campus, according to an article in the “Brown Bulletin.” Construction should be completed by fall 2016.
