OHP Confirms One Fatality In Car Accident Near Gans

GANS (KFSM) — A man is dead after Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a car accident west of Gans Monday afternoon (August 17).

Bryan Lewis, 53, of Marietta, Ga. was pronounced dead at the scene from head and trunk internal injuries.

According to OHP, Lewis and Jones were passengers in a 2000 Ford Explorer that struck a culvert on State Highway 141. The vehicle turned twice and came to rest on its wheels.

Jones was listed in stable condition with arm and trunk internal injuries, according to a release.

The driver was not known at the time.

The condition of the driver and cause of the collision are under investigation.
