LEFLORE COUNTY (KFSM) – The LeFlore County Sheriff’s Office and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are continuing a death investigation after the body of a teenager was found, according to the LeFlore County Sheriff’s Office.
Police said the body of a Colton Kardokes, 18, was found in the Cameron area Sunday evening (August 16).
According to the LeFlore County Sheriff’s Office, the body has been sent to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner.
The sheriff’s office Facebook page stated the following:
“The LeFlore County Sheriff’s Office recovered the body of 18-year-old Colton Kardokes in field in the Liberty Hill area of LeFlore County during the late evening of Aug 8, 2015. There were no signs of foul play or trauma and the body of Kardokes was sent to the state Medical Examiner’s office for autopsy to determine cause of death. The Sheriff’s Office and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are continuing to investigate circumstances surrounding his death and location where he was found.”
