FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — The Razorback men’s basketball team’s match-up in the 2016 Big 12/SEC Challenge will be Texas Tech, with the game scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 30 at 3 p.m. in Bud Walton Arena, according to a University of Arkansas press release.
Although the two have faced off more than 70 times before, this will be the first time the Red Raiders face the hogs in Bud Walton Arena, the release said. The game will be covered on ESPNU.
The Razorbacks won the last four matches against Texas Tech, averaging 98 points per state, the release states.
All 10 Big 12/SEC Challenge games will air in the ESPN family and will be available on WatchESPN, according to the release. The previous challenges were played out over multiple days in November and December, but the third annual event will be consolidated so that the teams all play on the same date, Jan. 30.
