ROGERS (KFSM) — Police do not suspect foul play after finding the body of a male subject, according to a release from the Rogers Police Department.

Officers with the RPD responded to the 700 block of Crescent Drive today after the mail carrier noticed a large amount of mail accumulating in the mailbox, the release stated.

Upon arrival officers discovered the body of a male subject in the residence.  The release stated the male had possibly been undiscovered for about a month from the time of his death.

Detectives are working to get a positive identification of the subject and are attempting to notify the suspected next of kin, according to the police department.

As a matter of policy the RPD investigates all unattended deaths to determine if the death was caused by natural causes.
