ROGERS (KFSM) - A big party is going to be happening in downtown Rogers starting on Friday (Aug.28). The Frisco Festival has been a tradition 31 years in the making.

Organizers have been busy setting up and getting everything ready for the festival. If you come out to the festival, you will find live music, delicious food and drinks, and arts and crafts.

Organizers said it's a fun time for the whole family this weekend. "They're going to be so many things for families to do," said Jessica Rush.

Rush said they've two car shows at the festival. The first car show is on 3rd street and the other will be on 2nd street.

The main stage will be the focal point of the festival where live bands will perform each day. You can also stop by the entertainment garden where all kinds of food and drinks will be sold.

But there's a change this year, organizers said no carnival rides will be at the festival.

This festival is the largest annual event in downtown Rogers. Over the years, it has attracted thousands of people from around the area.

The festival is free and will start at 5:00 p.m. with the grand opening ceremony.
