Sebastian County Aggravated Robbery Suspect Extradited, Bond Set

FORT SMITH (KFSM) — An aggravated robbery suspect has had his bond set and arraignment hearing scheduled after he was extradited back to Sebastian County following an arrest in Tennessee.

Michael Lee Jones, 36, is behind bars at the Sebastian County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond on suspicion of aggravated robbery. He had an additional bond set at $3,000 for failure to appear in court from a previous incident.

His arraignment hearing for the aggravated robbery charge has been scheduled for Nov. 4, 2015 at 1 p.m.

The court date for the charge of failure to appear in court is scheduled for Oct. 6, 2015 at 9 a.m.

Jones was arrested near Millington, Tenn. after a warrant was issued when Jones was believed to have been involved in a home invasion.

Jones was extradited to the detention center on Thursday (Aug. 27), according to the jail.
