FORT SMITH (KFSM) - A program starts today allowing fourth grade students across the country to visit any national park for free.

The Every Kid in the Park program was started by the White House to celebrate 100 years of the National Park Service. There are three National Parks in our area, the Pea Ridge National Military Park, the Fort Smith National Historic Site, and the Buffalo National River.

Every week 5NEWS shares stories of local people making a positive difference in our High Five report.
