SPRINGDALE (KFSM) — Springdale Mayor Doug Sprouse named the police department’s new police chief Friday (Sept. 11).
Interim Police Chief Michael Peters was officially sworn in as police chief after the mayor’s announcement.
Former Police Chief Kathy O’Kelley retired on June 30.
Peters has nearly 24 years of law enforcement experience, according to the mayor.
