Two Dead Following Accident On Highway 264 In Springdale

SPRINGDALE (KFSM) — Two women are dead following a crash on Highway 264 near Primrose Lane in Springdale Sunday night (Sept. 20), according to police.

The crash involved two vehicles, a Chevrolet Corvette and a Toyota Tundra, according to the Springdale Police Department. The Corvette was traveling eastbound on Hwy. 264 when it struck the Tundra as it was backing out of a driveway at about 7:55 p.m., according to police.

The driver of the Corvette was Cynthia Turner, 40, and the passenger was Holly Hill, 24, and both were pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The driver of the Tundra, Christopher Stowe, 38, was uninjured.

The investigation is ongoing and it is unknown if alcohol was a factor in the accident, according to police. No citations have been issued and no charges have been filed at this time.
