Clear skies, calm winds & a building ridge of high pressure will bring the coldest temperatures to the area since May last spring.
Temperatures are forecast to be in the low 40s in Northwest Arkansas and upper 40s in the River Valley.
The last time temperatures were this cold was May 22nd in Fayetteville when temperatures fell to 43º.
In Fort Smith, the last time we hit 49º was May 1st.
Cool weather will continue for the next several days with highs in the upper 60s to near 70 and lows in the 40s and 50s.
