LITTLE ROCK (KFSM) — A judge has issued an injunction to prevent the Arkansas Department of Human Services from stopping Medicaid funds to Planned Parenthood.

A previous restraining order had been set to at 4:55 p.m. on Friday (Oct. 2), a 14-day mark from when it was issued in September.

In August, Gov. Asa Hutchinson had directed ADHS to terminate its existing Medicaid contracts with Planned Parenthood following the release of videos that claim to show Planned Parenthood doctors talking about the sale of aborted fetal tissue.

Planned Parenthood of the Heartland filed a lawsuit against ADHS following the governor’s order claiming his directive was illegal and would compromise reproductive care for low-income women.

I have a question for all you democrat’s liberals, why is it you rant and rave about equal rights, but you will do nothing to defend an unborn child? Shouldn’t an unborn child be granted the same rights? Let me get this question straight; this question does not pertain to contraception or any other service Planned Parenthood provides. This question is solely directed towards abortion. Think about the name “Planned Parenthood” it gives you the idea this government agency will create for you a plan towards successful parent hood!?!?
