HARTFORD (KFSM) — The city of Hartford was put under a mandatory boil order Tuesday (Oct. 6) following a main water line break.
Crews were working to put in a new water line for a resident when the main line was somehow ruptured, according to Hartford Water Clerk, Terri McDaniel.
As a precautionary measure, a boil order has been put in place for Hartford. McDaniel believes the boil order will be active for at least a week as the health department takes samples from the local water supply.
