PULASKI COUNTY (KFSM) — A county circuit judge has ordered the Arkansas Department of Correction to release the source for drugs used during the method of execution.

Judge Wendell Griffin declared that the DOC must release the “identity of the manufacturer, seller, distributor and supplier of any lethal injection drugs to be used in the execution” of the eight inmates on death row scheduled for execution, according to court documents.

The DOC also must produce “un-redacted package inserts, shipping labels, laboratory test results, and product warnings” that pertain to the lethal injection drugs for the inmates by Oct. 21, 2015.

Griffin has already issued an order on Friday (Oct. 9) which will temporarily delay the executions that had been scheduled for Oct. 21.
