DELAWARE COUNTY (KFSM) — There were no serious injuries reported after an Elkins man crashed into a school bus south of Kansas, Okla. on Monday afternoon (Oct. 19).
Amable Courteau, 35, was treated and released from the hospital after he “failed to negotiate a right curve, crossed the center of the roadway and collided head-on with a Kansas Public Schools bus,” according to a release from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The release stated Courteau had an “odor of alcohol” and that the cause of the collision was a DUI.
The bus driver was not injured, nor were the 39 passengers on the bus.
