WEST FORK (KFSM) -- West Fork Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide after receiving a 911 call reporting two deaths Monday (Oct. 20).

Officers found the bodies of Opal Clark, 73, and Jimmy Tipton, 70, inside a home at 33 Elmwood Street, West Fork Police Chief Brian Watts said.

Neighbors said Clark owned the home and had lived there for several decades. They said there was a man who had been staying with her recently. Members of the Clark's family said it's something the never saw coming.

Washington County property records show the home was owned by Opal and Albert Clark.
