Star Wars Fanatics Are Pumped For New Movie

FORT SMITH (KFSM)-- "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is coming to theaters soon, and of course lots of fans are amped up about it.

Many movie theaters are already running out of tickets for opening night, and some websites even crashed when tickets went on sale Monday (Oct. 19).

“We're so excited," Tami Matos said. "It comes out December 18, and we're getting our tickets ready."

Star Wars fan Clay Pruitt collects movie memorabilia and props. He has everything from a Darth Vader costume to blasters and lightsabers. He told 5NEWS his expectations for Episode VII.

“I'm very excited about as any Star Wars fan would be,” Pruitt said. “I hope that it can take me back to the way the original movies made me feel.”
