FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — Fayetteville Public Schools announced on Tuesday (Oct. 27) that they had selected a replacement for the open Board of Education position that was vacated last month.
Nika Waitsman was chosen to fill the At Large Position 1, which was left open by Jim Halsell on Sept. 18, after Halsell announced that he and his family were moving out of state.
Waitsman will serve the remainder of the term, which ends in September 2016.
