BOKOSHE (KFSM) — A 17-year-old male was arrested Monday (Oct. 26) on suspicion of arson after multiple fires at abandoned homes in Bokoshe, according to the Bokoshe police chief.
The chief said there have been five fires at abandoned homes in the city in the past month. He said all of them caught on fire under suspicious circumstances.
There were two additional attempts to set fire to abandoned homes, but those were unsuccessful, according to the chief. Police believe another suspect may be involved in the attempted arson, the chief said.
The name of the 17-year-old suspect who has been arrested is not being released since he’s a juvenile.
