ALMA (KFSM) -- A local 15-year-old student has cerebral palsy, but he doesn't let that hold him back.

Naythan Dykes used what he had to create a unique costume. His teachers and mentors at the school reached out to 5NEWS after Naythan told them he wanted to be a 5NEWS anchor for Halloween.

The teachers helped Naythan decorate his wheelchair as a 5NEWS anchor desk.

When asked to give a news report from his news desk Naythan pretended to be his favorite sports guy, Bobby Swofford.

"Breaking news! Alma has been picked to win the Battle of the Bones. Stay tuned for 5 News at 10 with Bobby Swofford," Naythan said.

Naythan attends Alma High School.
