Razorbacks Roll In Exhibition Finale

Kingsley scores game high 16 points as Arkansas wraps up preseason schedule

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) - Mike Anderson was looking for improved consistency and improved foul shooting in Arkansas's final exhibition game.

He got one of those.

The Razorbacks hit 17-of-20 from the foul line but shot just 41 percent from the field. That was still plenty as the Razorbacks rolled over Delta State 74-40 in the final tuneup game before Friday's season opener.

“Sometimes the game is going to start slow and nothing is going to fall, but the one thing that we can always start off right is our defense," Arkansas guard Jabril Durham said. "As long as that starts off right going forward, we’re going to be okay.”

Moses Kingsley led the way with 16 points while Dusty Hannahs added 15 off the bench. Arkansas got 31 points from their bench players and forced 16 turnovers.

“I think we have some nice pieces and I think these pieces are going to have to figure out how to play with one another," Arkansas coach Mike Anderson said. "I like the energy, I think we have a team that has energy. We have some versatile parts and we have some guys who can knock down some shots.”

The Razorbacks host Southern Friday night in the regular season opener.
