FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) -- The first campers of the holiday sales season made their way to Best Buy on Wednesday (Nov. 25) just after 8 p.m.

Those looking for sales will spend 17 hours waiting before they can go inside to buy their electronics.

Best buy opens Thursday (Nov. 26) at 5 p.m.

They will open for a second round of sales at 8 a.m. Friday (Nov. 27.)

Best Buy said they understand Black Friday sales are exciting.

However, they still planned on keeping everything calm and organized.

“It is fun. A lot of people are anxious. They get in line to hope and get a better spot on those hot buys that they don’t expect to last,” said Damon Cooper, a manager at Best Buy in Fayetteville. “We go out and have some fun with the people in line. We hand out tickets for the big items, and have some fun with them pre sale. We talk to them, and try and make them feel welcome.”

Those camped outside of Best Buy were provided outlets to restrooms.
