Two Hospitalized After Accident On Highway 64 In Crawford County

CRAWFORD COUNTY (KFSM) — Troopers were on the scene of an accident early Wednesday morning (Nov. 25) that sent two people to area hospitals.

Arkansas State Police said the accident happened around 4:30 a.m. along Highway 64 near Alma. According to officers on scene, the driver was traveling westbound when they veered into a culvert, then crashing into a utility pole.

The driver and the passenger were transported to Mercy and Sparks Hospitals in Fort Smith to be treated, according to troopers.

ASP said the cause of the accident is under investigation.
