Arkansas mounted a rally but it wasn’t enough as Georgia Tech pulled away for an 83-73 win at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The Razorbacks will wrap up the NIT Tip-Off on Friday against Stanford at 11:30 a.m.
Charles Mitchell’s 19 points, 18 rebounds effort led the way for the Yellow Jackets as he was one of four players to score in double figures for Georgia Tech (4-1). Georgia Tech crushed Arkansas on the glass as they outrebounded the Razorbacks 50-26.
Arkansas was paced by Dusty Hannahs who had 17 points off the bench while Anthlon Bell added 14 points and was 4-of-8 from beyond the 3-point line. All four 3-pointers came in the first 16 minutes of the game. Moses Kingsley added 13 points and nine rebounds.
