ARKANSAS (KFSM) -- A local organization based in the River Valley and Northwest Arkansas is giving back to those in need this Thursday (Nov. 26) with a Thanksgiving meal.
The Salvation Army in Fort Smith, Fayetteville and Bentonville is expecting hundreds of people to come and enjoy the meal. Volunteers will be serving up turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, desserts and much more.
If you want to volunteer, organizers said you can show up at any location starting at 8:00 a.m. Volunteers will be prepping, serving and even delivering the meals to some local elderly residents.
The Salvation Army is located on North 6th Street in Fort Smith. They will be serving the Thanksgiving meal from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Fayetteville Salvation Army is located at 219 West 15th Street.
In Bentonville, the Salvation Army is located on 3305 SW I Street.
Both Northwest Arkansas locations will be serving the free Thanksgiving meal from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
