Arkansas Wins Wet Battle Line Rivalry

Arkansas wins Battle Line Rivarly 28-3 over Missouri with no issues.

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) - The weather was no problem for the Arkansas Razorbacks in their 28-3 win over Missouri in the second annual Battle Line Rivalry game at Razorback Stadium Saturday.

Arkansas got their running back back and Alex Collins finished the day with another 100-plus yard game. The running back scored the Hogs first three touchdowns of the day and came away with 130 yards on 30 carries.  Collins came away with his ninth 100-yard game this season.

It was a different story for the Razorback defense who just a week ago gave up more than 600 yards to Mississippi State. The defense allowed only 171 total offensive yards to Missouri, and came away with one turnover. The only score from the Tigers was a field goal from 35-yards out in the second quarter.

Brandon Allen, who played in his final game of his career in Fayetteville, was 11 for 17 for 102 yards, and one interception late in the game. He set a record last week for single game touchdown passes, but came away with none in Saturday's rainy matchup.

Kody Walker would run in the Hog's final touchdown of the game for nine yards and a 28-3 lead in the third quarter.

Arkansas finishes out their first winning season since 2011 with a 28-3 victory over Missouri, and bring the first ever Battle Line Rivalry trophy home.
