FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Major retailers offer deals online every year for Cyber Monday, but local businesses are offering deals on their products, too.

Fayettechill Clothing Company is giving online shoppers a 10 percent discount, in addition to a sale that has been going on since Black Friday.

Skye on the Town is offering 40 percent off everything available online.

“Everything – so, accessories, shoes, scarves, tops, dresses, all of it,” Associate Kaitlyn Bacon said.

She said with the rainy weather in our area, now is a good time to stay indoors while shopping.

“It's perfect weather to be just cozied up at home, you know with hot cocoa or a glass of wine. No one's going to judge you,” she said. “[You] can't come in and shop in your PJs, but you can do that at home.”

The Springdale Police Department advises shoppers to take certain precautions when shopping online. Police recommend shipping packages to a location where someone will be able to receive it when it is delivered. They also suggest requiring a signature upon delivery, and continually tracking the status of the package until it is delivered.

Online holiday shoppers are predicted to break records this year and spend nearly $3 billion, about a 12 percent increase over last year, according to CBS News.
