CENTERTON (KFSM) – According to Mayor Bill Edwards, the Centerton Police Department arrested Charles Snapp Sunday (Dec. 6) morning, after police said he robbed a local convenience store.

According to Edwards, two officers responded within minutes to the location.

Edwards says the robbery suspect was 50-year-old Charles Snapp.

Snapp was arrested, and taken to the Benton County Jail.

Records show Snapp was held at the jail with no bond.

Jail records show Snapp is facing charges of obstructing governmental operations, possession of drug paraphernalia, refusal to submit to arrest, and felony robbery.

The Highfill Police Department also assisted in the investigation.

“Thanks to some very aggressive police work by everyone involved, the suspect was taken into custody due to some great police work,” Edwards said.
