FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Sebastian Tretola might have gained national attention by throwing a touchdown pass last season against UAB but Wednesday he was honored for his normal position.

The Arkansas senior was one of two players awarded the Jacobs Blocking Award which goes to the top offensive lineman in the SEC.

Alabama’s Ryan Kelly was the co-recipient of the award this season.

Tretola started 23 straight games for Arkansas at left guard and was one of the most consistent linemen in the conference in 2015. He was also honored as the SEC offensive lineman of the week earlier this season.

Former Razorback Jonathan Luigs shared the award in 2007 while Shawn Andrews was a back-to-back recipient in 2002 and 2003.

Tretola played on every offensive snap that the Arkansas starting lineup was on the field.
