FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – A pair of Arkansas freshmen were named to the SEC’s best list.

Linebacker Dre Greenlaw and running back Rawliegh Williams III were each named to the league’s All-Freshmen team on Thursday.

Greenlaw led all freshmen in the SEC with 93 tackles and was fifth nationally among first year college football players. The Fayetteville native had four double digit tackle games and finished second on the team in total stops. Greenlaw added 3.5 tackles for a loss, added a sack and forced two fumbles.

Williams was one of two running backs on the list despite missing five games after a neck injury that resulted in surgery. Williams rushed for 254 yards and a score on 56 attempts while added five catches for 26 yards.

This is the 12th straight season that Arkansas has had at least one player on the All-SEC list while the Razorbacks have had seven selected during the three seasons with Bret Bielema as head coach.
